Overview
True PLM must be applied across the whole enterprise, with all of the problems and issues that this entails. Resolving
these issues needs active collaboration at an implementation level.
It is difficult for companies to collaborate and share information on a long term basis without some form of neutral framework
to work within. This is provided by the PLMIG, enabling Corporate Members to combine their own PLM development with high-level
guidance of the direction that the future direction of PLM should take.
Corporate Membership
Corporate Membership allows you to work interactively with the PLMIG at an organisational level, including:-
- application of PLMIG tools and methodologies directly to your PLM environment, on site
- incorporation of your PLM issues and needs into the Reference Model initiatives
- free participation in PLMIG workshops and events to gain the earliest experience of the new knowledge
- workshop deliverables including the PLM Maturity Reference Manual
- PLMIG methodologies such as the Benchmarking Handbook
and the PLM-SCM Guidebook

- quarterly PLM Journal
- coordinated collaboration with other Corporate Members on PLM Industry issues in a 'User Group' format
