Rules and Regulations of the PLMIG 1. Protection of Knowledge During PLMIG activities, members must take all necessary steps to respect and protect each other's knowledge and ideas. 2. Accuracy of Information Each member will use reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of any information or materials it supplies to the Group, and to correct promptly any error of which it is notified. 3. Availability of Resources Members agree not to propose to host or take part in activities unless they are reasonably sure of having appropriate resources available to commit to such activities. 4. Liability of the PLM Interest Group a) PLMIG activities will lead to many individuals and organisations sharing information and working together. The PLMIG does not accept any special liability for this, nor indemnify any member against the normal consequences of their actions. b) Members accept that the PLMIG operates for their benefit and is not liable for the consequences of the use of its material, or information gained or relationships formed through membership. 5. Liability of Members Membership of the PLMIG does not constitute a de facto contractual or partnership arrangement with any other member, and members are therefore not liable for the actions of other members by reason of their membership. 6. Maintenance of Confidentiality by the PLMIG In the process of representing the views and interests of PLMIG members, the PLMIG itself will become aware of views and facts that are confidential. The PLMIG recognises this fact, will maintain that confidentiality and will ensure that written proceedings and other published material are expressed in a way that is not attributable to their source. 7. Maintenance of Confidentiality by members a) All information whether written, electronic or oral made available by one member to another member, or to other members, in the course of PLMIG activities, including but not limited to existing know-how, and identified by the member supplying such information as CONFIDENTIAL, shall be kept confidential by the receiving member for a period of one (1) year from the date that such information is received. b) Confidential information made available by a member shall not be divulged to any third party or used by any receiving member, without the prior written consent of the supplying member, for any purpose other than PLMIG activities. c) A member who receives confidential information from another member shall not be liable for the disclosure and use of any such information which:
