PLM User Forum

The PLMIG will run two PLM User Forum events, in Europe and the USA, during November 2008.  These independent, neutral 2-day workshops are for PLM user participants to share views, experiences, and methodologies with each other.

European Forum USA Forum

This means that the two meetings will build on each other.  They will share a common format, and participants in either meeting will receive the results of both.  The combined results should be available by mid-December.

They will follow the normal PLMIG format, which means that there will be no screens, no exhibitions, and no sales presentations.  They are pure interaction time, and include a written Summary Document of the proceedings after the event.  The aim is to deliver a common view of how to approach and implement PLM.

Format

After an hour or so of lead-in by the PLMIG, the rest of the sessions are all delegate working time.  The format allows you to present your views about PLM to the group for discussion, and to build a working template of ideas to take back for use within your own implementation.
